We offer one large guest bedroom with comfy queen-size bed that looks out on a tranquil natural setting. There is a shared bathroom next door to the guest bedroom.Home-made organic breakfast is included. The downstairs living area is open to guests. Wireless internet is available throughout the house.
- In the main house is a large kitchen, dining room, living room, two outdoor terraces. We also have organic vegetable gardens, three goats, six chickens, one duck and one cat.
We had a lovely visit at the Goat’s Garden! The setting is really beautiful and peaceful – a great place to relax. The house is charming and comfortable, the food was delicious, our hosts were gracious and friendly, and clearly love their place and what they are doing. A delightful experience!
Thank you so much, Carla!
I had the most relaxing stay at the Goats’ Garden. Kathy and David were wonderful hosts – so welcoming and friendly! The house itself is beautiful and unique, full of warm and cosy nooks to sit and read in. The organic breakfast was phenomenal – with fresh bread, local produce and lots of choice. I was stunned! The bed is also incredibly comfortable. It was the best week’s sleep I had in ages! Finally, of course the goats are lovely too. Thanks so much for a wondeful stay!
My partner and I are from Portland, Oregon. We took a trip to Norway and Sweden this summer. One of the highlights was the 3 days we spent at Goat’s Garden. We flew into Oslo and hopped a train straight to Skoppum. It was a lovely way to ease out of our jet lag… beautiful countryside, Viking museum, nearby summer home of Munch, wonderful food! We opted to buy dinner at the B & B on one of the nights we stayed and it was delicious! Breakfasts were always a treat! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.
Thanks so much Diane! It was a pleasure to have you- we would love to have you back again any time!
